Inspirational Purple Heart Monument Dedication Scheduled at Heroes Park

In recognition of our military men and women who've been wounded in armed combat, the City of Palm Coast has partnered with the Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter #808 to dedicate an inspirational monument in Heroes Park.

The public is invited to attend a solemn unveiling ceremony on Tuesday, September 28th, 8:00 a.m. in the Park.

The monument was erected to honor all members of the United States Armed Forces who have been awarded the Purple Heart Medal. Program speakers will include Purple Hearts Chapter Commander Rick Look, Palm Coast Mayor Jon Netts and Palm Coast Vice Mayor/General Holsey Moorman.

Heroes Park is located ½ mile west of the Flagler County Public Library on Palm Coast Parkway NW. Additional parking will be available at Roma Court, located on Corporate Drive across from Heroes Park.
