Jacksonville, Fla., October 19, 2015 – Freedom Boat Club will be hosting Boat for Hope on October 24 and October 25 at Julington Creek Marina. The event will take place from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. There will be a $5 cover charge and guests will be treated to free boat rides and refreshments. All proceeds will go to Breast Cancer Awareness.

“We want to do our part to make a difference and increase awareness and prevention of breast cancer,” said Lisa Almeida, co-owner of Freedom Boat Club Jacksonville and St. Augustine. “It is the most common cancer diagnosis for women, but death rates can decline with increased awareness and early detection. We hope the Boat for Hope can help to make a difference.”

In addition to the Boat for Hope event, Freedom Boat Club Jacksonville and St. Augustine will also donate $1 to Breast Cancer Awareness for ever new like on their facebook page during the month of October. The page can be found at www.facebook.com/FreedomBoatClubJaxStAug.
