Survivor Speak-Out & Art Show Tonight at 6:00 PM

The fight to end sexual violence in northeast Florida will take center stage in Jacksonville for Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM).

Survivors of sexual assault will be speaking about their experiences, struggles and triumphs in an environment that we hope will foster the courage for other victims to speak out as well. Come be a part of this celebration of personal strength and help create a place where survivors can tell their stories without fear, shame or judgment. Jacksonville Men's Chorus performing & spoken word artists delivering their lyrical works of art! Light refreshments.

April has been recognized as Sexual Assault Awareness Month since 2001. The goal of SAAM is to raise public awareness about sexual violence and to educate communities and individuals on how to prevent sexual violence as well as to provide visibility and empowerment to those who have been affected by it.
