St. Johns County Announces April Energy Efficiency Education Series Dates

St. Johns County continues its series of FREE Energy Efficiency workshops in April to teach commercial contractors and homeowners how to build more efficiently and save money.

The weekly workshops are from 3:00 to 4:00 pm on Thursday’s at the wind mitigation building at the University of Florida IFAS Extension, located at 3111 Agricultural Center Drive, St. Augustine, FL 32092.

  • Energy Efficiency, HVAC and the Building System – April 7th
  • Energy Efficiency and Ground-Source Heat Pumps – April 14th
  • Energy Efficiency with Water Conservation – April 21st
  • Energy Efficient Retrofitting and Remodeling Ideas – April 28th

The free Energy Efficiency Education Series is part of a grant from the Florida Energy & Climate Commission. St. Johns County is one of only 15 counties and municipalities in the entire state that were awarded this competitive grant. Funding is provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 through the Department of Energy.
