Victim Id'd In Fatal Accident On SR 13 | News

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla-  51- year old Lina Mourad died this morning  near the entrance to the Julington Creek Plantation when a trailer came loose from a truck.

A St. Johns County sheriff's  spokesman says Mourad was struck when the trailer came unhitched from a truck driven by Austin Baker. A witness told First Coast News he saw the victim thrown airborne.

Deputies did CPR on the  woman until paramedics arrived says the sheriff's office.  The victim was suffering cardiac arrest at the scene.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident according to an informattion report from the agency, charges are pending.

Both Mourad and Baker are residents of Jacksonville.
