Wed. Classes at Liberty Pines Academy Moved Again

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- Liberty Pines Academy students will once again hold classes at different schools.

Classes for students in kindergarten through fifth will be held at Creekside High School, and classes for students in grades six through eight will be held at Bartram Trail High School.

According to St. Johns County School District spokesperson Margie Davidson, the district was hoping to hold school at LPA, however just before 7 a.m. Wednesday it was announced the school would be closed, again.

Smoke from wildfires burning in St. Johns County prompted the school to move its classes to Bartram Trail and Creekside since last week.

The eighth-grade end-of-year ceremony will be Wednesday but its location depends on where classes will be held.
